As part of the use of this website personal data are processed by you through us than for the data controller and stored for a period which is necessary to fulfill the specified purposes and statutory obligations. Netmetech markets its site, content, products and/or services online but I do not specifically target marketing to the EU or conduct business in or to the EU in any meaningful way. If the data that you provide to me in the course of your use of the Site, content, products and/or services is governed by GDPR, Netmetech will abide by the relevant portions of the Regulation.

If you are a resident of the European Economic Area (EEA) or are accessing this site from within the EEA, you may have the right to request: access to, correction of, deletion of; portability of; and restriction or objection to processing, of your personal data. This includes the “right to be forgotten.”

Depending on the requested Services or as necessary to complete any transaction or provide any service you have requested, we may share your information with your consent with our trusted third parties that work with us, any other affiliates and subsidiaries we rely upon to assist in the operation of the Website and Services available to you. We do not share Personal Information with unaffiliated third parties. These service providers are not authorized to use or disclose your information except as necessary to perform services on our behalf or comply with legal requirements. We may share your Personal Information for these purposes only with third parties whose privacy policies are consistent with ours or who agree to abide by our policies with respect to Personal Information. Privacy of children

We do not knowingly collect any Personal Information from children under the age of 18. If you are under the age of 18, please do not submit any Personal Information through the Website and Services. We encourage parents and legal guardians to monitor their children’s Internet usage and to help enforce this Policy by instructing their children never to provide Personal Information through the Website and Services without their permission. 3. Processing of personal data and the purposes of processing

a) When you visit the website

When you open the Website www.netmetech.io, our servers automatically record information that your browser sends. This data may include information such as your device’s IP address, browser type and version, operating system type and version, language preferences or the webpage you were visiting before you came to the Website and Services, pages of the Website and Services that you visit, the time spent on those pages, the information you search for on the Website, access times and dates, and other statistics.

The processing of the IP address takes place for technical and administrative purposes of the connection establishment and stability, in order to guarantee the security and functionality of our website and to be able to trace any illegal attacks on it if necessary.

The legal basis for processing the IP address is Art. 6., Para. 1,. Sent. 1., let. f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest follows from the security interest mentioned and the need for trouble-free provision of our website. We cannot draw any direct conclusions about your identity from processing the IP address in the log file.

In order to make the Website and Services available to you, or to meet a legal obligation, we may need to collect and use certain Personal Information. If you do not provide the information that we request, we may not be able to provide you with the requested products or services. Any of the information we collect from you may be used for the following purposes:

– create and manage user accounts
– respond to inquiries and offer support
– request user feedback
– improve user experience
– enforce terms and conditions and policies
– protect from abuse and malicious users
– respond to legal requests and prevent harm

Note that under some legislations we may be allowed to process information until you object to such processing (by opting out), without having to rely on consent or any other of the following legal bases below.

b) Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

c) When registering for our newsletter

If you lit. Art. 6., Para. 1., Sent. 1. GDPR, we will use your email address to regularly send you our newsletter. To receive the newsletter, it is sufficient to provide an email address.

You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the “Unsubscribe” link at the end of the newsletter. Alternatively, you can send your unsubscribe request at any time to [email protected] by email.

d) Email marketing

We offer electronic newsletters to which you may voluntarily subscribe at any time. We are committed to keeping your e-mail address confidential and will not disclose your email address to any third parties except as allowed in the information use and processing section or for the purposes of utilizing a third-party provider to send such emails. We will maintain the information sent via e-mail in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

In compliance with the CAN-SPAM Act, all e-mails sent from us will clearly state who the e-mail is from and provide clear information on how to contact the sender. You may choose to stop receiving our newsletter or marketing emails by following the unsubscribe instructions included in these emails or by contacting us. However, you will continue to receive essential transactional emails.

e) When registering to our Affiliate Program

You can access and use the Website and Services without telling us who you are or revealing any information by which someone could identify you as a specific, identifiable individual. If, however, you wish to use some of the features on the Website, you may be asked to provide certain Personal Information (for example, your name and e-mail address). We receive and store any information you knowingly provide to us when you create an account, or fill any online forms on the Website. When required, this information may include the following:

We need LinkedIn or Xing profile names in order to know who sent the request. We need your email address in order to be able to answer your request. We need all further information to consider whether Netmetech can help you or not. This data processing takes place within the framework of answering the contact request on the basis of our legitimate interest in accordance with Art. 6., Para. 1,. Sent. 1., Let. f) GDPR.

The personal data collected by us for the use of the contact form will be deleted, provided that your request has been answered and the deletion does not conflict with any statutory retention requirements.

3. Cookies and pixel tags

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address, and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.

If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.

4. Rights of data subjects

You have the right: in accordance with Art. 7., Para. 3., GDPR, to revoke your once given consent to us at any time. As a result, we are no longer allowed to continue the data processing based on this consent in the future;

to request information about your personal data processed by us in accordance with Art. 15. GDPR. In particular, you can obtain information about the processing purposes, the category of personal data, the categories of recipients to whom your data has been or will be disclosed, the planned storage period, the existence of a right to correction, deletion, restriction of processing or objection, the existence of a Right to lodge a complaint, the origin of your data, if we have not collected it, as well as the existence of automated decision-making including profiling and, if necessary, meaningful information on their details;

in accordance with Art. 16. GDPR, to immediately request the correction of incorrect or incomplete personal data stored by us;

to request the deletion of your personal data stored by us in accordance with Art. 17. GDPR, unless processing to exercise the right to freedom of expression and information, to fulfill a legal obligation, for reasons of public interest or to assert, exercise or defend legal claims is required;

In accordance with Art. 18. GDPR, to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data if you dispute the correctness of the data if the processing is unlawful, but you refuse to delete it and we no longer need the data, but you need it to assert or exercise it or if you need to defend legal claims or you have objected to processing in accordance with Art. 21. GDPR;

in accordance with Art. 20. GDPR, to receive your personal data that you have provided to us in a structured, common, and machine-readable format or to request transmission to another person responsible and to complain to a supervisory authority in accordance with Art. 77. GDPR. As a rule, you can contact the supervisory authority of your usual place of residence or work or our company headquarters.

Information about your right to object under Art. 21. GDPR: You have the right, for reasons arising from your particular situation at any time to the processing concerning your personal data under Art. 6., Para 1., Let. e) GDPR (data processing in the public interest ) and Art. 6., Para. 1., Let. f) GDPR (data processing on the basis of a balance of interests) takes place, to object; this also applies to profiling based on this provision in accordance with Art. 4., No. 4. GDPR.

If you object, we will no longer process your personal data unless we can prove compelling legitimate reasons for processing that outweigh your interests, rights, and freedoms, or the processing serves to assert, exercise, or defend legal claims.

If your objection is directed against the processing of data for the purpose of direct advertising, we will stop processing immediately. In this case, it is not necessary to specify a particular situation. This also applies to profiling insofar as it is associated with such direct mail. Netmetech Cares about your privacy, so we follow The Platform for Privacy Preferences Project or P3P practices. P3P was designed to give web users more precise control of the kind of information that they want to allow to be released.
